Priority river basins

A possible scheme
for prioritising river basins at global level. Major catchment basins are assessed
for fish diversity (at family level) and for vulnerability (a combined indication
of disturbance and potential water stress). Systems with both high diversity
and high vulnerability are proposed as high priority for investment and management
action, those with low diversity and little disturbance are lower priority.
